On the outside, the OEM47 looks very much the same as Xtech’s other AK magazines— waffle-pattern grid on the sidewalls for strength, aggressive serrations front, and back for grip, black glare-free finish—but this model forgoes the steel reinforcements of the feed lips and locking lugs. This all-polymer bodied magazine is light and affordable, while still being plenty reliable for competition or range use. A stainless steel spring helps inhibit rust and provide consistent feeding, and the quick-release baseplate means regular cleaning and maintenance will be a breeze.
