Featuring a match grade carbon fiber wrapped barrel with cut rifling, the Model 48 Mountain Carbon will give you accuracy that you never thought would be possible in an ultra-light-weight rifle. This cutting edge barrel design is engineered with an optimized Sendero profile and includes a 5/8×24 TPI threaded muzzle for your preferred muzzle device. With better cooling than stainless steel, carbon fiber wrapped barrel technology produces a stiffer lighter barrel with better shot-to-shot consistency and increased accuracy. Mounted into a leading-edge pillar bedded lightweight carbon fiber aramid reinforced stock you get a rock solid shooting platform. This granite green Mountain Hunter Stock is completely unaffected by averse weather. It sports excellent ergonomics with palm swells and textured grip surfaces that ensure a no-slip grip no matter what Mother Nature throws at you. Drilled and tapped, the M48 receiver is contoured to use typical Remington 700 two piece scope bases. Nosler included a crisp clean Timney precision trigger that breaks like glass to further enhance your accuracy.
