The Colt “Special Target” revolver of 1896 was later renamed the “Bisley” after its spectacular performance at the British shooting range of the same name. More than just a sport shooter’s pistol, it was also used by many as a sidearm, becoming especially popular in the southwest as well as in northern Mexico. This modern day reproduction by Cimarron is true to the original hogleg, with superb balance and handling.
